FAQ

Do I need to be a science or engineering student to join Bulldog Rocketry?

Nope :)

We recruit students from many disciplines, including (but not limited to) communication, marketing, finance, sales, computer science, environmental science, biology, physics, math, statistics, chemistry, and engineering.

If you have an interest in space, rockets, or innovation, you belong on our team.

What’s the best way to get involved as a student?

Our general meetings are on Tuesdays at 5pm in ENGR 290. Attending one of our general meetings is a great way to get a feel for the team and find out if Bulldog Rocketry is for you. If you cannot attend one of our meetings, please reach out to rocketry@d.umn.edu. She will work with you to get you integrated with our team.

How can I keep up to date with announcements from Bulldog Rocketry?

We have a wide variety of ways to stay in touch. We are active on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

How large are your rockets?

Bulldog Rocketry builds 8-20ft rockets that fly to over 30,000 ft. That’s as high as commercial airliners!

How can I support your mission?

We greatly appreciate all of our current and past sponsors. What we do is not possible without them.

If you would like to offer a personal donation, please see the information on our donations page.
